Why It’s Important to Sometimes Go Unknown Ways

„Sometimes you have to stop trying to force it, walk away and let your subconscious show you the way. Fill up on life for a while.“ — J.K. Rowling
Sometimes you have to take that literally.
When we moved to a new, unknown place years ago, I only stayed in the surrounding playgrounds with my two small children.
Suddenly they asked if we could go another way that made them curious. I said yes and didn’t expect anything significant.
But when we broke new ground, we discovered new playgrounds and parks we didn’t know about before.
Since then, we have taken a different route in town once a month to see which new squares await behind these unknown blocks of houses.
So such small and spontaneous decisions can indeed show and teach us new things.
