While working with the enterprises, you will often face the challenge of building a solution for something and present that idea to all the stakeholders and on-board them.

A lot of times, people are not ready for the change because sometimes they have put a lot to build a particular system or they just have the fear of failure. Whatever maybe the reason but all such would create a lot of obstacles in your way forward.

Unless people around you accept the idea and start implementing or utilising it, your idea has no value.

So how to tackle this situation ?

Democratisation is of the idea could be one of the solution.

Democratise is to make (something) accessible to everyone.

The Wikipedia page rightly describes the meaning

Democratisation of technology refers to the process by which access to technology rapidly continues to become more accessible to more people.

In democracy, people get to choose whom they would want to follow. Not all want to follow the same leader but at the end majority wins. This is same situation with many enterprises, not all people can think alike and they would be difference of opinions in any system but it is very important to keep yourself open, accessible to people and then people will not only just decide but religiously follow.

Same is the case with technology world, unless you make your idea open and accessible to everyone, they will never know what it is ? And even if it makes sense to them to follow the idea.

To widen the acceptance of your idea, first you need to make sure your team is on-boarded on this journey. The idea needs to be open to accept their suggestions. People need to feel its their idea as well and only then people will contribute to it and take it forward.

People will only help build the world, they helped defined.

If you look around, a lot companies are doing the same, they democratise the idea so well that everyone just feel like jumping into it. For instance, if you look at Microsoft, they are making things like machine learning so simple that you could even do in that in simple Excel sheet. Same is the case with Google, complex vision detection, voice recognition, chat bots are just an API call away.

So next time if you want your idea to be popular and accepted world wide then think about democratising it !!
