In the realm of words, where emotions ignite, Poetry emerges, a beacon of light. For within its verses, a magic resides, A language of the soul, where meaning collides.

Why is poetry? A question so grand, For it weaves tales, like an artist’s hand. It paints pictures with words, in vibrant hues, Expressing truths that the heart imbues.

Poetry captures moments, both big and small, It unveils the mysteries, like a clarion call. With rhythm and rhyme, it dances on the page, Invoking emotions, like a heartfelt sage.

In poetry’s embrace, we find sanctuary, A refuge where thoughts flow, unbound and free. It allows us to ponder, to question, to explore, The depths of our being, our essence at the core.

Through poetry, we touch the human condition, Its joys and sorrows, its endless rendition. It gives voice to the voiceless; the silenced ones, And shines a light on forgotten tales and undone.

With brevity and depth, it distills the profound, Unraveling complexities, in simplicity found. It speaks of love, of longing, of strife, Transcending barriers, connecting our life.

Poetry whispers secrets, in whispers so soft, Unveiling the truths oftentimes sought. It captures the fleeting ephemeral thread, Preserving moments, before they have fled.

So why is poetry? It is a vessel of expression, A channel for thoughts, a timeless confession. It stirs the imagination, ignites the flame, Inviting us to ponder, to question, to reclaim.

For in the realm of words, where beauty lies, Poetry breathes life, and love never dies. It is the language of the soul, ever alive, A testament to the human spirit’s drive.
