Why I Use Substack
For a half year, I write on Substack. This is a one-story-look-like newsletter. You write your thought — as you’re used to on Medium. Only this story will be directly in your inbox. So, you don’t have to open other applications or websites.
Fist, to write on t, you have to create an account. Then explore it before publishing any content. There is no app for it as Medium has. You always have to go to their website. You can write about whatever you want. It’s all your brain what flows on the screen. They don’t have a niche for you have to write about. You can write what is on your mind.
I don’t write a lot on Substack, because I still need to find what I want to write about, but I love this platform very much. It is easy to use, the interface is simple but beautiful.
When I write on Substack, I can create a newsletter, or I can write other stories that will be right into your inbox. It is still the same as a normal newsletter, only you don’t need to go to another application, which I like very much.
I can promote my stories I wrote on Medium and other platforms, I can inform you about news, but I also can write fresh content. Right into your inbox.
You can choose to let people pay your newsletter, or free, or both combined. I like that very much. You also can family and friends (who don’t have that much to spend) put them into the free zone, to get everything for free. Only you — as the owner — can don that.
Here are some accounts I love to read. They differ a lot, but necessary to read.
