Why I Started Paying For Housecleaning
Time is invaluable
At some point, you’ll come to realize that your time is invaluable, and you would like to spend more of it where you can receive the best return on your investment (time); I finally fell into this bucket of thinking.
I’m a hardcore cleaner, and most people can’t live up to my cleaning standards, but I’ve accepted this. At this point, as long as it’s clean enough, it’ll work for me. It was challenging for me to reach this point, though.
When I first ordered house cleaning, I was always felt unsatisfied with the effort; plus, I often found missed spots (yup, that’s me). But now, I don’t even look for the tiny spots, As long as it looks clean from a few feet away, we’re good, and I get several hours back every week since I’m a deep cleaner.
I have seven dogs, maybe you have 1–7 kids (or more), or maybe you don’t have any kids but a roommate(s) or partner living with you. Maybe you live by yourself. I know a woman who lives by herself and also orders house cleaning. Do you know why? Life gets busy, and when you can take a moment to breathe, you probably don’t want to spend it cleaning your damn house — unless it’s therapeutic for you.
If you can afford to get a house cleaner, do it. There are also many apps and sites that offer incredibly affordable house cleaning rates.
Our time is valuable. Let’s spend more of it on the things we actually want to do.
