Additionally toxic friends may not be trustworthy. They may gossip betray confidences or manipulate situations for their benefit the trust essential for any healthy friendship. This lack of trust can make a toxic cycle of uncertainty and anxiety within the relationship.
Furthermore toxic friendships can hinder personal growth. Negative influences may discourage you from pursuing your goals making you doubt your abilities or aspirations. A supportive friend encourages personal development while a toxic one can stifle your potential hindering progress and happiness.
