My Disconnection with BFS

In a world of diverse poetic forms, Where preferences bloom in varied norms, There exists a style, named BFS, That fails to capture my heart’s caress.

Its verses, perhaps, lack the gentle touch, That stirs my emotions, oh so much. The words seem distant, devoid of grace, Leaving my spirit in an empty space.

For poetry, to me, is a soul’s expression, A tapestry woven with heartfelt impression. But BFS, alas, fails to ignite, The fire within, the poetic light.

Perhaps its cadence doesn’t dance with mine, Or its themes fail to evoke the sublime. The imagery falls flat, the metaphors weak, Leaving my poetic thirst unquenched, bleak.

Yet, I respect that tastes diverge, In this vast world where opinions surge. For what resonates with one, may not with another, And poetry’s beauty lies in its endless cover.
