Why Don’t You Show Somebody

You’re staring at the world, But you have no vision or fire.

As you go about a fading life, Your thoughts are callous and tired.

And as you look out of the window, Is it only you out there.

Never listening to other voices, Never reaching out your hand.

Why don’t you show somebody, Show somebody love.

Why don’t you help somebody whose pain is all at once.

Why don’t you forgive the sorry people, and hold them in your heart.

Or are you just a shallow fool.

Now you’re missing out on life, And the cynicism makes you frown.

As years go rolling by, But only you have kept you down.

When you look out of the window, Is there nothing more to see.

As you hurt all your children, Now who will be in need.

Why don’t you show somebody, Show somebody love.

Why don’t you fall in, like an ocean, Give it everything you’ve got.

Why don’t you remember all the beauty and hold it in your heart.

Or are you just a shallow fool.

Why don’t you show somebody, Show somebody love.

Why don’t you inspire somebody who is blind to the wonders of the world.

Why don’t you hold somebody whose pain is all at once.

Or are you just a shallow fool.

Why don’t you Why don’t you …

Show somebody love.
