Why Does the Hero Always Fall for Miss Gorgeous?
I am noticing a trend.
In thrillers, the hero is often tall and ruggedly handsome.
His love interest is often drop-dead gorgeous — even when having a bad hair day.
No bloating, dark circles and nary a zit to be found!
She’s bathing suit ready at a moment’s notice —thanks perhaps to laser hair removal?
Often has a heart of gold and is loyal to boot.
Drops out of the sky and onto the hero’s lap with perfect timing.
I wonder if Mr. Handsome is predisposed to fall only for Ms. Gorgeous?
What if Ms. Chubby (and dentally challenged) crash-landed into his life and needed saving?
Plot twist!
He might save her life but would he spare her a second glance afterward?
Mayhaps in a fairytale….
