Why Do You Want To Be Wealthy?
What does wealthy even mean, anyways?
Not only is this not my photo, I actively do not want what is pictured.
Nope, not for me, no thank you.
I think I’d get lost in that house, and the car isn’t practical at all for a family. Not to knock anyone’s dream, but I’ve never understood the desire for a mansion. It just sounds… pretentious and dull.
This is more like what I’m after:
I want to be free of debt, free of time constraints, free of worry.
I want to wipe out my friend’s medical debt, buy my cousin’s whole classroom wish list for the low-income school she teaches in, fund my parent’s retirement.
That’s what wealthy looks like to me.
I hope I get there one day, I think I could do a lot of good.
I’ve got the “why”, now I just need the “how”.
There are no fancy things that I want. Just to free my family and friends, and yes, myself, of the worries and troubles that plague people who don’t have the money to pay for health care and school supplies and home repairs.
That would be wealth enough for me.
What about you? What does the wealth you are after look like?
