Why Do You Need Your Own Blog?

I have been writing on medium for around one year. The platform is like a fairyland for me to grow as a writer and explore the writing of different writers/authors/storytellers, from beginner to expert.

Besides growing with medium, I want to create my writing place, my blog.

Your blog is like the home of your stories.

It’s like a blank canvas where you can play with your world of words. You can paint with your preferred theme, topics, genre, and whatnot. You retain 100% control of the content.

It’s your place. You own it.

Creating a blog is all about creating a brand. To establish your brand as a writer, you must have your blog.

However, I need more time to develop my blog. Developing and launching a blog requires a concrete master plan, pipeline stories/blogs, and minimum technical capacities.

I am spellbound whenever I visit the blog of our all-time favorite writer Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles.
