Why Do I Write So Damn Much?
Because… Because… Because… BECAUSE…
Lately my fingers have been flyingggg a lot. Hey, why not let them?
WHY do I write so damn much, people might ask?
Because I can. Because Life is short. Because I’m only on this planet for a little while. Because Why the heck not? Because It’s fun to fling out words. Because — I want to. Because my words might resonate with one person, and that’s cool.
Because ...because because…because BECAUSE!!
I don’t question it any more. If the muse wants to run wild and freeee I stand back and allow it.
WHY do I write so many different styles and go in so many directions?
Because I like diversity. Because I like experimentation. Because I like imperfection. Because I like to learn things.
Because. Because. Because. Because. BECAUSE!
WHY do I not give a flying fuck if I get curated, get much ‘traction’ for a particular story, understand algorithms or use the proper Medium style, graphics, grammar, photos, headings, or edit and reedit each story adfinitum?
Because I believe it’s all good. Because I write for me mainly, not Medium. Because I believe you can forge your own trail. Because life is not always about following rules. (Rules are meant to be broken.) Because I like doin’ things my own way.
Because I can.
