Why do I want to be a writer?
Writing is telling great accomplished experiences, listening, and reading people’s stories.

I was 6 years old when I went to school to learn to read and write, like all of you.
I learned to read first, very quickly, and only then to write. But I immediately realized that I loved reading and writing. It was a whole world that opened.
Whenever I could, even at that young age, I wrote my little texts. I would like to have had a diary, but at the time that was for “girls”, a boy didn’t write in a diary!
I grew up, started to have other interests, and forgot about writing for a while. The only thing he wrote were letters to girlfriends, with some poems of course, (but those were the good old days). Today, young people, unfortunately, don’t know what a pleasure it is to write a poem for a girl, or even to receive a poem from a girl. I received some letters, sometimes anonymous, but it was wonderful.
When I was 16, my thirst for independence and freedom led me to leave school to go to work. Once again, writing was forgotten. Only when I was around thirty, I went back to school until I finished my studies.
Today, after a lifetime of working, I am a different person. I’ve already achieved almost everything I ever wanted. I have a family, a house, a stable job. The time for conquests has passed.
Now it’s time to dream again, I started writing a few years ago. Maturity gave me the wisdom to know how to wait. After a life full of experiences, acquired knowledge and contact with other writers, I have a lot to tell.
Writing is telling life experiences, listening to what others have to say, reading other people’s stories. Ultimately, for me, it’s all about sharing. If the world is what it is today, we owe it to all those who in the past knew how, with wisdom, to SHARE.
Why should you be a writer?
Because you should never leave your dreams aside but fight for them!
