Why do I Think March is the Best Month to Start Losing Weight?

Many of us set a goal at the beginning of the year to lose a few pounds and do more sport. Unfortunately in January and February the temperature outside is usually very low and the motivation to get out and exercise in nature is extremely low. In addition the day is much shorter so you have very little time left to exercise.
However, now at the beginning of March I realized that this is the best month to start exercising and lose weight. Not to mention the fact that if we start now we have plenty of time to be in the best shape by summer.
In order to lose weight according to my calculations I would need a calorie deficit of about 500kcal every day. The alternative would be to eat less, but if I did that I would probably lose muscle mass which I don’t want.
Because yesterday was Sunday and the weather outside was extremely good I went out for a walk in the lake, which besides helping me relax and improve my mood helped me consume about 400kcal which is more than 80% of my daily requirement.

When I got home I noticed that already the fattier food I had been eating in January and February had been replaced by vegetables. These are much easier to find and contain far fewer calories which will help me lose even more weight. On 26 March the hour will change and this means I will have even more time to go out every evening.
So my conclusion would be that the best month to start losing weight is March. What do you think?
