How I Increase My Read Ratio

The non-stop learning process. It’s ticking back up.

The great thing about it (read ratio) is that anyone can do it and make improvements right away.

If you don’t believe me read a bit more and find out why is that.

First, we’ll go over the hard numbers and then over what or who you should learn from. Some of them you might already know but just that you didn’t think of applying the tactic to each of your posts.

As they say, it wasn’t always that way.

For January, I couldn’t REALLY find what went wrong until I read and studied more about what I’m about to share here. The Read ratio sure drops and so do the views and read. I did manage to keep things stabilized but that was not enough for the growth I projected.

I did learn $330 within the first week in January and ended up with only $765.29. $1,000 per month was nowhere in sight.

The stats chart below says it all.

7.1K/12.4K = 57% VS 5.2K/8.5K = 61% Read Ratio (is this an uptick?)

As you can see things are starting to go in the right direction as you can see from my latest stories. The read ratio is now ticking back above 60%, in fact, some of the latest stories have over 70%.

Do you remember the I Clap Only 49 Times post? It is still holding up at 78%.

After all of these, there is something that I need to share with you.

That is how to build quality posts over time.

I know that some of my posts will still suck no matter what. It might not even be the content sometimes.

Take it as it is learn from the feedback and apply it to the next one.

The Main 4 writers that I learned from are Carl Jeffers, Ryan Canady, Leonard Tillerman, and Daniel T.

Of course, there are other great writers out there but within a certain community, we have to pick and choose and just go with what we have until we find something else that clicks with us even better.

They do have certain things in common but their own specialty is things that you should keep an extra eye on.

I break them into short, mid, long, and mixture.

How they build and format each line is the key you should focus on.

Yes read them line by line and ask why am I reading them and what I got out of it not just the meaning behind the words but the whole spectrum view of the post in contrast to each line or section of lines.

I can’t reveal who has what but what I can say is that they all have some of those in them.
