What made me prefer writing on medium?
Before writing on Medium, I was working at Fiverr as a writer. No doubt, I was earning a handsome amount from Fiverr orders, but I lose my success on Fiverr due to some reasons. I could not manage orders alone, which results in failure. After that, I decided to say goodbye to Fiverr forever and start something as part-time work. I wanted to have something that suited my taste and just landed on medium.
Develop creative skills.
My medium journey is not good in terms of earnings, but it helps in polishing my writing skills. Before writing on Medium, I never tried writing poems, but I learned the art of creativity from medium fellows, especially the poems of David Rudder, Sahil Patel, Dr. Fatima Imam, Marilyn Glover, and Ilis Trudie Palmer. Their poems sever as great inspiration for me.
When I was new to the medium, I came across their poetic expressions and loved them. Their way of expressing thoughts enable me to try writing poems, so I did it. I start with Haiku and gradually moved toward narrative and rhyming poems. I learned to write a narrative from John O’Neill. I call the medium microblogging. It is a helpful way to develop skills and kill time efficiently. Very few writers know about the power of microblogging on media. Treating Medium as microblogging helps in bringing dollars toward you.
You can share the daily post on Medium by writing microblogs for up to 2 to 3 minutes reads, as Marta Henriques is doing. She is rocking at medium by updating everyone with her words on daily basis.
