Why Are People Afraid of Jesus?

Science can’t disprove God, so how can you?

We are born knowing the difference between right and wrong — If evolution is merely a structure in which we thrive based on survival of the fittest, then being taken with a moral code wouldn't be necessary.

Animals are inherently capable of making decisions based on survival, and they don’t understand the concept of right and wrong. Sure, you can teach a dog not to bite a child, but that’s based on a command, not because they know it's the wrong thing to do.

The Bible

Let’s talk about the basics first; the bible is supposedly the written truth, the word of God, and a guideline of how to live as Jesus did, to achieve full grace with God at the end of your life.

However, many people do not vibe well with the idea of the following form, from disobeying parents, law enforcement, laws in general, and the overall notion of conforming — is almost a bad thing now.

The Bible is composed of 66 books by 40 different writers over 1,500 years and from various continents. All of the original and new manuscripts contain the same message. How is that possible? Surely, if someone wanted it changed, they would have to have access to every original piece from every author over 1,500 years. Mind you, there were no cars or forms of communication besides letters.

Who is Jesus? And what did he do?

Jesus Christ, the son of God, suffered severe pain on a scale we are not capable of understanding.

When he cried out on the cross, “God, why have you forsaken me?” That alone speaks volumes of what he endured. That was the first time he didn’t call God his father. He took on our sins, past, and future so that we have a chance for redemption.

And God had to judge him accordingly – that was the only time Jesus felt a complete discord and separation from God. For us.

Jesus is the epitome of love; there is nothing that suggests the opposite. His entire existence was for us.

Does God exist?

Science has yet to disprove the existence of God — otherwise, religion wouldn't exist.

Let me ask you this, can you think of one thing in the world, heck, the universe, that wasn't created from something? Everything has a creator — nothing forms out of thin air. So, if we can all agree that something cant come from nothing, then where did the universe come from? Big bang? Still, who created the big bang? Or the elements to create the big bang?

Why is our universe so precisely tailor-made for the emergence of life? Could the big bang have been the meaning of “Let there be light?” Aside from the faith we have, God can't be proven or disproven in a sense. Otherwise, there would be no point in having the confidence, to begin with.

Questions for non-believers

For people who do not believe in God, let me ask you a few questions.

What is the purpose of life to you?

Why don't you believe in God? Is it because he doesn't fit your agenda?

If you can’t disprove God, does that mean the existence of God is, plausible?

Do you feel bad when you do wrong?

If not from God, where does morality and feeling shame come from?

Where did matter come from?

How do you know God does not exist?

Final thoughts

Either you will die, and everything goes dark, with no real point or reason for your life – or we have a much bigger purpose, and a much bigger happy ending.

If you believe in life after death, where does that theory come from if not God?

Did you ever notice once God started being removed from life, life keeps getting worse?

What if you’re wrong…what if God does exist?
