Summary

The website content reflects on the peculiarity of human societies requiring payment for fundamental aspects of existence, such as living on land, traveling, dying, and learning, which are freely accessible or innate to other species.

Abstract

The article "Why are humans the only species that pay for their existence?" humorously critiques the societal norms that necessitate payment for aspects of life that are intrinsic and freely available to all species. It points out the absurdity of paying for land, which is a shared resource that no one creates, and for visas to travel, which other species do without restriction. The author also finds it ironic that humans pay for their existence even after death, with funeral expenses being a prime example. Lastly, the piece questions why humans must pay for education when other species learn naturally or instinctively. The author suggests that humans should consider political ideas that challenge these norms and stop paying for what is inherently free or unowned.

Opinions

  • The author expresses bewilderment at the concept of paying for land, questioning the legitimacy of ownership since no individual creates it.
  • There is a clear critique of the human-imposed concept of borders and visa fees, contrasting it with the free movement of animals like birds.
  • The article mocks the idea of paying for death-related expenses, highlighting the absurdity of spending money on behalf of those who have passed and can no longer benefit from it.
  • The author views the requirement to pay for education as a uniquely human problem, noting that other species learn without such costs.
  • The piece concludes with a call to action for humans to seek political solutions that would end the practice of paying for things that are fundamentally free or communal.

Why are humans the only species that pay for their existence?

The stupidity of being human 😂 is paying even for things that belong to no one

Who came up with the idea of paying to exist? What the hell is that?

I’m okay with paying for something built or made by someone else.

But I’m not 100% okay with paying for something that belongs to no one.

Here are things that we pay for, and they belong to no one.

1. Humans pay for the land

Why do we have to pay for it? I’m asking a question.

The first thing we need to establish is that the land, as it is, does not belong to anyone. We all share it. Nobody builds or creates it.

But we, the humans, are paying for it.

As we know, all species, except us, live for free.

Who invented that? What was going through his mind?

Anyway, all humans on the planet have been taken in by that nonsense, and we think that it is normal.

2. Humans are the only species that pay visa fees for traveling.

Birds travel daily; they don’t know if countries and borders exist. They fly and eat; no visa is necessary.

Humans, on the other hand, require a visa to cross borders.

Why?

Because we’ve invented countries, cities, money, and taxes.

Who was the first person who came up with that idea? — Of countries and cities?

3. Humans are the only species that pay when they die

😂😂😂 Sorry, I’m just laughing.

We are the only species that pay even when we die.

I mean, a dead person can’t do anything, but we have to do a lot to not be in the same position as our dead relatives, who can’t do anything.

We have to get ready for the cremation and pay for the crematorium.

And we, who are here, can’t do anything wrong except that we have to pay for that.

This is just a free example of the stupidity of being human.

We pay for living and for dying. What the hell is that? Who invented that?

4. Humans pay for learning

We are born with empty minds, and we need to pay to learn. That’s the problem with humans.

All animals learn for free, or they come with an inside program.

Only humans need to pay to learn something.

My thought

I think humans must be seeking political ideas that can make them stop paying for “free” things. Or stop paying for something that no one owns.
