What Influences Your Earnings on Medium and How Can You Increase Them?

Looking over the earnings of the last few days I noticed a drop and the first question was what happened and why they are not at the level of December or even January.

Of course it’s not a problem related to Medium but it’s a problem related to my activity on Medium.

The quality of the articles has remained about the same, the time I post them has not changed much. I can say that in the last few days the number of articles I have written has actually increased.

If in December I was writing an article every 2 days, at the end of January and beginning of February I even reached 2 articles per day which means that the level of work has increased quite a lot.

After some time thinking about what happened I realized that the only difference between December and now is that I somewhat reduced my interaction with other members. This wasn’t necessarily a personal decision, it was because of the job that took up most of my time.

So my advice which of course I will keep in mind is to not forget about interacting with other members on Medium, whether it be comments, claps or even highlights. Also in the last person , there was probably one thing I didn’t notice that in your article you can mention another Medium member by typing @ followed by that person’s username.

Earnings on Medium are not influenced by the number of followers and it seems not even necessarily by the number of articles per day.

Starting today I will try to focus on posting a single article and spend more time interacting with other Medium members.
