Why Angel Numbers Might Be a Sign
From the Universe, God, or the Quantum Computer…

These days, I feel called to write about the angel numbers. I started encountering them when I quit Engineering and followed my dream and calling.
If you know me as a writer and read my About Me post, you probably know I’m now ON THE RIGHT PATH. Even the angel numbers gave me the signs!
There will be 3 parts to this story, and you’re in the Prequel: THE WHY.
Why should you care?
Addressing the Doubts about Angel Numbers
I, too, sometimes have disbelief, but then I remember what I’ve learned over the years.
Here’s a summary of everything to get you up to speed.
Universe as a Quantum Computer
Let’s refer to the MIT professor Seth Lloyd. In his book, “Programming the Universe,” Lloyd explains that everything in the universe consists of units of information, “bits.”
He’s talking about the ones and zeroes we’ve all seen in computer coding. Angles summarizes Lloyd’s point by writing, “The atoms themselves are also bits of information. Information is everywhere, just like quantum mechanics.”

Similarly, in the 1960s, Edward Fredkin, an American computer scientist, suggested that the universe may function like a computer.
Both Edward Fredkin and Konrad Zuse, a German civil engineer, said that it could be a particular kind of computer best described as a “cellular automaton. That’s where the system is made up of black-and-white grids, and cells decide whether to change color based on information from nearby cells.
Could 11:11 be a sign you’re sending to yourself?
Okay, I’m not going to get into the Matrix theory.
The Mystery of the Golden Ratio
Also known as the divine proportion, 1.6180339887 is the golden ratio.
This unique number is “the ratio of a regular pentagon’s diagonal to its side.”
Throughout history, mathematicians such as Pythagoras, Euclid, Johannes Kepler, and modern scientists like Roger Penrose have dedicated much time to figuring out the properties of this divine proportion.
We see this ratio everywhere, from geometry, physics, optimization, and architecture to art, music, flags, nature, and more inexplicable things.
The Probability of Seeing Repeating Numbers
Well, no one is talking about this, so here’s my engineering side taking over to calculate the chances for you.
There are 60 minutes in one hour and 24 hours a day, meaning there are 1,440 different times you may see throughout the day when you look at the clock.
How many of them are angel numbers? I’m going to use the American 12-hour clock system.
00:00, 10:10, 11:11: 12:12, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55, 10:01, 11:01, 1:01, 2:02, 3:03, 4:04, 5:05, 6:06, 7:07, 8:08, 9: 09, 12:02, 1:10, 2:20, 3:30, 4:40, 5:50.
Hoping I didn’t forget any, let’s calculate the probability by using the basic formula.
Probability = (Favorable Outcomes/Total Outcomes) x 100
Probability of seeing the angel numbers, based on the American 12-hour clock system with the assumption of Seda not forgetting any angel numbers:
(26/1,440) x 100 = 1.80555555556 ~ 1.8
The chances of you seeing an angel number throughout the day is 1.8%.
Remember, this is just the probability of seeing angel numbers on the clock.
Imagine seeing it on the clock, then on a street sign, then at the store on a price tag, on a coffee shop window, etc.
The chances of seeing the same repeating number over and over again decrease when you count all of these in.
Meaning it is rare.
Remember, in the 24-hour time system, you experience more angel numbers: 22:22, 13:13, 13:31, 14:41, 15:51, 15:15, and so on.
Types of Angel Numbers
Let’s talk about the types of angel numbers you may be seeing.
Repeating numbers:
Repeating angel numbers have patterns or repeating numbers.
11:11 is the most common one, while we also see 1:11, 2:22, 3:33 and so on.
Mirror numbers:
Great examples of mirror numbers are 12:12, 10:10, 1:01, 2:02, and 3:03. These are also called “mirror hour.”
Mirror numbers always give me an eerie feeling when I see them several times over a week. Does that happen to you?
Reversed mirror:
12:21, 01:10, 10:01, and 02:20 are examples of reversed mirror numbers.
The reversed mirror numbers give me a feeling of relaxation and trust in the divine.
