Why am I Writing?

Make sure to have a clear purpose in mind to bring the right output

Writing is a very versatile work. It involves a lot of knowledge, a clear mind, use of some innovative techniques to exchange thoughts from one person to another.

Writing is like talking to a best friend as you can express thoughts, no one judges you, and what makes a writer happier is the thought that he has shared are beneficial to readers as well.

But, there is a purpose to write, try to give value to the readers, they should take learning from your readings, if they can get some benefit out of your work, they will come back to you.

Below is some purpose people write for, most of the purpose are inter-linked, but try not to use your writing for the last point.

Money

Some people write to make money. It works for them as they provide value but, the primary motive to write is to earn decent money, content writers, freelancers, and now some of the Bloggers come under this category as they provide values by Ebooks, Tutorials, and sell the courses.

Awareness

A variety of writers work on creating awareness about some of the social causes, be it writing about the environment or the evil atrocities of society.

The best part about this type of writing is that it helps to create a spark in society resulting in some good changes. Some of the best writers have emerged who had the purpose of using their pen for the world.

Generic Thoughts

These types of writers usually share their general thoughts, but those thoughts are so connecting be its financial problems or relationship problems, the write-ups can connect with the general public, the emotions and thoughts can connect with readers.

Informative

Writers that provide information about any new software, updates, cheat codes of games, market insight, Travel, and Food blogs, News.

Spirituality

The purpose is clear to stay calm and follow the divine power. Some articles include teachings about the spiritual world and a lot of people who either had a disturbing life or in search of mental peace loves to read such writing.

Controversy

Some bad elements of society fall under this category. To get the fame they will try to write on all negative reasons that are always against Government, Nation, Religion Policies, and in short, they are against everything going right in this world.

Such people know that to be famous be out of the box, and they are actually out of the box cursing specific religion, country, or anything that gains quick attention.

Unfortunately, this category is increasing every day, and the only way to stop such people are not paying any attention to them.

Your Take

Be Creative, and write what you love to express (except the last point). Don’t chase only money, but choose a purpose to write, and you’ll one day be happy to do this service of providing values to the world.
