Who Detached Us From God?
And why have we been lost for so long…

One thing about this life… You gotta define God for yourself.
They say they are Christians but they worship the wealth. Say that they are Muslim but no peace can be felt. Say that they Hindu but their love leaving you welts. Say that they are Jewish but won’t give you any help… I ain’t got time to list everyone else.
It makes me question what they read to themselves. So many sections seem to scream they’re compelled, to give back and let go, to travel down these roads of compromise. Even when looked down on by others’ eyes.
If you saw their actions you would be surprised. A slave to passions leads to a slow demise. Demolition of themselves and the people around, still, swear that they’re right. Speaking evil sounds… Say they hold demons down, really they keep them around. Demonizing the “so-called” religion found. “So-called” because they aren’t spreading the peace. They fall in defeat. Letting earthly desires be how they compete. Guess thoughts of the next life can’t make them complete.
Isn’t that what sacrifice is about? Foregoing the clout once you’ve made it right with your doubt? Not obsessed with a life that’s defined by amounts? Only on knees for the cheese, that’s only fine for a mouse. I’d be lying, no couch, if I said those opinions are what life is about.
We were meant to be Kings. We were meant to be Queens. Rulers of our domain, knowing how to set scenes to promote peace easily, spread decency…
Recently, seems we’ve perverted dreams into a need to beat, a need to take from other’s plates. Misinterpreted what the word relates into being chosen to have whatever we want. But you want things on earth, how is that not an affront? To a higher power who’d never want you to flaunt, the objects acquired during what’s meant as a jaunt.
A nice lil jog through the physical plane. But we say this is who we are, identify with the pain. Next thing you know parts of our spirit are slain. Then we’re enslaved by material gain.
For whom the bell tolls, I’m hearing it clang. For the peace of the people, I just sit back and pray. Divided between us… Divinely defeated… Why can’t we see God in everyone’s face?
