Who Cares What Medium Thinks: Let’s Pick the Articles WE Think Should Be Boosted!

Recently, I read an absolutely brilliant idea written by a well-known Medium writer. Kristina God, you are a genius!

Kristina wrote an article that each and every one of us coulda/shoulda written months ago in response to Medium’s change in how writers are paid. Medium’s idea was to “boost” certain writers in order to get their articles read by a wider audience.

Well, Kristina’s article basically asks each one of us to do the same: let’s “boost” writers ourselves!

Why wait around for Medium to pick and choose who we read? Let’s boost writers WE think are eminently worthy of being read by a wider audience!

That being said, I’d like to boost another writer who’s been around for a bit: Jerry Dwyer. I enjoy Jerry’s travel stories the best! They’re chock full of details and put you right on the front row seat of his latest adventure. How he remembers each and every trip so clearly is amazing, but it might have something to do with the myriad of photos he’s accumulated.
