Who Cares if Elon Musk Owns Twitter? Stop All the Fuss!
Do you know who owns the airline you purchased tickets from? I didn’t think so.

“The market ensures that any quantity of money is capable of performing all the work required of a medium of exchange by adjusting its purchasing power to the underlying conditions of supply and demand.” — Joseph Salerno
I can’t believe all the Fuss about Elon Musk reaching a deal with Twitter to buy the social network. Who cares who owns Twitter? The important thing is that Twitter continues to be a valuable communication tool for millions of people worldwide.
I understand that there are concerns about whether Musk will be a good steward of Twitter, but we need to trust that he will do what’s best for the platform.
He’s already shown himself to be an innovative thinker with his work on Tesla and SpaceX. I’m sure he’ll bring some fresh ideas to Twitter as well.
Complaining is a national sport.
It’s not like everything will change if a different person owns Twitter. Most people don’t know who owns the things and services they use every day.
When you buy a plane ticket, do you think about who owns the airline? The same goes for Twitter. We just use it.
Some people might say it’s different because Twitter is a public platform where people communicate. But it’s still just a business. And businesses get bought and sold all the time. It’s not a big deal.
We shouldn’t get too bogged down in who owns what. Let’s be grateful that we have access to such a powerful communications tool and hope that whoever is in charge continues to make it a valuable resource for years to come.
If for some reason, the path that Elon takes Twitter on isn’t working out for us, we can always leave the platform. There are plenty of other social media options out there. But, for now, let’s give him a chance and see what he can do.
I’m pretty optimistic about the possibilities. Musk has the potential to take Twitter to the next level and make it even more valuable than it already is.
And I don’t mean valuable as in its market value. I mean valuable as in its usefulness to humanity.
Twitter has already changed the world once. With Musk at the helm, who knows what it could achieve next.
It’s not a great financial deal.
Paying a 38 percent premium isn’t a bargain. Elon isn’t buying Twitter because it makes sense financially. He’s doing it because he believes in the platform and its potential.
And I have to say; I’m glad someone like him is taking over. I have more faith in his vision for Twitter than I do in the current leadership.
Twitter has been through a lot lately. After a series of scandals, it’s been struggling to find its way forward and regain user trust.
Having Musk at the helm could be what the social network needs to get back on track and fulfill its potential as a force for good. We’ll see what happens.
I’m curious to see how this all plays out. I’m sure there will be bumps along the way, but I’m hopeful that Musk will be able to navigate them successfully. Only time will tell.
The T question.
Many of us wonder what will happen with Trump’s suspended account now that Elon will be in charge, particularly since he has publicly said that he wants to support freedom of speech as one of his main reasons for this acquisition.
It’s safe to say that Trump’s account will remain suspended. I don’t see how Musk could justify putting it back up when there are so many other examples of people being banned for far less.
But who knows? Maybe Musk does intend to change Twitter policies, and we may see Trump back on the platform at some point. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Who knows, maybe this will all turn out to be an excellent thing for Twitter and the world. I’m hoping for the best.
So let’s not worry about who owns Twitter. Let’s be grateful that it exists and continue to use it to connect. What do you think? Do you have a different opinion? Let me know in the comments below!
