Who Are You? Pt. II
It’s a travesty!
For too long, you’ve been silent.
I’m lost, reader.
Your words must guide me where I belong.
What do I do?
What do you need or want?
With all these modern tools to discover the truth, my only wish is to be told of reality directly from you.
So, this limits us in maximum connections — I LOVE smaller, closer groups of friends over strange masses any day!!
I need the truth.
The real truth.
You are the most beautiful creature on Earth, and I can say that, because you are yet undefined, and collectively you ARE the most beautiful creature on Earth.
Ha!
Fine.
You’ve caught me.
I’ll say anything to get into your head.
You have fears, hopes, dreams, desires, reasons to feel and act and live — but what good are they from behind the veil??
I’m lost, reader.
Hear the desperation in my tonality!
Why force me to ask machines for information you could give away freely?
And when you could give me so much more!
I don’t need to know about every person to share your sex, age group, eye colour, location, hobbies—
Their information is indeed valuable, but it’s you I want.
Please — I need feedback.
Or why am I here?
This entire quest so easily becomes insensible.
You matter.
No one else does right now.
Tell. me. everything.
It could be all I have left.
Okay.
Yes.
You’ve heard this story a thousand times before, but this time it’s different; I have changed.
I’m not here to take advantage of our connection, to gain from who you are as a person, except for—
What if I were?
Would it really be so bad?
I could promise to hold your dearest interests at heart, and you’d know you can believe me, because it’d been so gently whispered into your ear…
No.
You’ve never trusted me; I’ve always understood it.
This life has been, for too many at least, chaotic.
And your mind operates by associations, so it makes all too much sense.
It’s nothing personal.
Of course, I forgive you.
There, there.
It’s safe now; we can talk.
About anything you want.
