Who and What does A Woman Mean towards Me?
“As a woman, I have no country. As a woman, I want no country. As a woman, my country is the whole world.” ― Virginia Woolf
A woman is a bedazzling beacon of magic and wonder. She has the magical power of fostering life and most of all the fostering love she exhibits when she becomes an affectionate guardian to the offspring she bears. A love that is inconceivable, incomparable, and unachievable besides her to give.
“A lady’s imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony in a moment.” ― Jane Austen
This magical feeling is a physical embodiment that is called a mother. She is a spiritual blessing called a sister, who is someone spreading warmth and sunshine wherever she runs, causing havoc where she goes and spreading joy whomever she comes in contact with.
“A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves — a special kind of double.” — Toni Morrison
Someone who understands you, and is your first and best friend forever, you can confide yourself in. She is the one after your mother who will love you truly.
“A witty woman is a treasure; a witty beauty is a power.” ― George Meredith
She is a beautiful metaphysical counterpart to a man, perhaps created in pairs. She has everything a man doesn’t thus she makes him complete with her majestic existence. It is beyond words to describe, the sheer feeling of warmth and solitude that is present in her embrace — it can only be felt, calmly as you rest your head on her chest.
“What would men be without women? Scarce, sir…mighty scarce.” ― Mark Twain
She is a partner, a lover, a friend, and someone who cares — someone who completes you. Perhaps there is something more than she is, her existence isn’t defined what she sees, believes, hears, understands, or even learns. There is more to her than meets the eye, you will only know it unless she tells you or you connect with her on a level that everything about just speaks for itself.
“I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naïve or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman.”― Anaïs Nin
Maybe then perhaps, women might be understood and respected and would feel accepted as who they are — a miracle on this earth, that not many of us have been blessed with.
“The true man wants two things: danger and play. For that reason he wants woman, as the most dangerous plaything.” ― Freidrich Neitzsche
So treasure those around you, and make them feel loved because when they leave, you will lose someone dear that can never be replaced. Thus, make the most of it within their presence as their memory will still be alive in the kindness and love they shared and had for you even when they’re gone.
Perhaps she might be standing in the field somewhere, expecting the sun to rise, waiting for you there experiencing heavenly dawn with zest, one fine morning.
