Who Am I?

I Sometimes Wonder That Myself

If you are not yet a member, you can still read my post here.

Me and my boys

I did go through and write a short bio about myself, but obviously…it’s a short one.

In my bio, I mention I’m a wife. I’ve been married to my husband, Tim, for over 11 years now and wouldn’t trade him for anything.

We are both Army Veterans, meeting when we were deploying to Afghanistan together.

Which brings me to another part of my bio. I’m a 13-year Army Veteran. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. I was a Paralegal NCO and a Basic Leader Course Instructor.

I was medically retired in 2020 after receiving my diagnosis for muscular dystrophy (yes…super fun aspect of my life!).

I’m a mom to two wonderful boys (5 and 9) and stepmom to a beautiful stepdaughter currently in college. There is nothing that makes me happier than knowing I am shaping their lives every day.

Lastly, I’m a writer. I have two books that I have authored: Penny the Prudent Piggy: Adventures in Moneyville and How to Survive Marriage: A Hilarious Guide to Avoiding Divorce.

I love writing, which is obviously why I’m here! Make sure you follow me to keep me accountable for my daily stories and please engage to let me know that I’ve got your attention!
