Prompt Poetry Day 7
Who Am I?
A depressing poem with an optimistic twist
Who am I, you ask?
I am that girl who grew up in loneliness who was ignored at parties
I am that girl who depended on others who endured a lot in her life
I am that girl who missed being loved in her life who almost killed herself.
I am that girl who rose from ashes by herself who showed the intensity of her inner-strength
I am that girl whom the world was forced to take seriously who never had ‘giving up’ as an option
I am that girl whom you can look upon for motivation who has gained everything by losing herself
I am Bhavna and I am that girl you cannot afford to ignore.
