Summary

The text describes a vivid dream of ascending through layers of sky and snow, culminating in an encounter with a mysterious Voice, followed by awakening.

Abstract

The narrative "White Dream" unfolds a surreal dream sequence where the dreamer experiences a thrilling descent, likened to sliding down a smooth surface, leading to an ascent through layers of a parting sky. The dreamer passes through a landscape of reds and pinks, amidst howling faces, and ascends into a serene cloud, landing in a tranquil, snowy expanse. This white space is characterized by a cold blizzard and the distant sound of music, leading to an afterlife inn where loved ones are present, emanating warmth and light. Beyond the inn, shallow stairs emerge from the snow, leading to a profound encounter with a celestial light, sphere, and an authoritative Voice. The dream concludes with the dreamer awakening, hinting at the significance of the Voice that must be remembered.

White Dream

Heaven snows.

I dream. Sliding down cool plastic My feet kick. Rushing down, then up Layer by layer, sky parting, Peeling back in reds and pinks Faces howl. Thundering through the layer Up and up. Up and up. Drifting through a cloud, landing. White space, a cold blizzard, and soft, Not-so-distant music. An afterlife inn. Loved ones speak. Yellow light drips from open shutters open doors. Past the cheerful inn, rising from the deep snow, shallow stairs rise. Above, there is something. A light, a sphere, a Voice. It says — (in a Voice I must remember)

— I awake.
