A Poetic Journey of Love and Longing
Whispers of Twilight’s Embrace
Echoes of Longing
In the hush of morn, a fleeting sigh escapes The verses lost, swallowed by your gaze. Frailty lingers in the day, as we trace our dreams Unfinished melodies, entwined, destined never to align.
Black-naped orioles serene perch on branches Morning, a tome of longing, lost in endless dream. I seek the rain that graced us in the night’s embrace, Within grains, perhaps a shard of love’s sweet trace.
Betwixt bamboo leaves, the moon’s silvery glow, Like a wandering dream, lost in depths we’ll never know. The eve entwines with solitude’s lamented song, Longing’s hue, night birds pecking with forlorn.
Fragile vessel we embarked upon, frail and worn, Rowing twilight’s edge, whispers of prayers adorn. Twilight’s fragments speak of you, of me, of trails unkempt, A voyage through pain, in acacia’s wilderness, we’ve dreamt.
A sliver of moonlight lingers on a teak leaf, Adorned with a poem born from a solitary womb, On countless etched with prayer, May you find moments to inscribe a word in the sky at dawn about our destined expedition.
Darling! Clouds drift across the western sky, Cradling our cherished memories, And reciting verses of wounded hearts.
As twilight stealthily embraces the edge of silence, Dissolving wounds into glistening droplets on acacia leaves.
The gentle mist echoes the morning’s melody, Spreading amidst the twists of rice stalks, An ageless elegy for seasons past.
You are the wind, And I a withered leaf, Together we venture through every forest hollow, Seeking a resting place.
In the whispers of the northern wind, I recite love, Hoping that with simple verses, we can keep its flame aglow.
Within the chamber this morn, I discovered a fragment of poetry written by an angel, Prayers flow through the valleys sadness, Cleansing all anxiety of the unknown.
When I arrive by your porch, have a cup of yearning prepared; Let us spend the night, gently pushing aside memories.
