In lands where stars have lost their gleam, And hope’s a rare and fleeting dream, The tales of many unfold and rise, A mosaic of desperate cries.
Born amidst chaos and fierce strife, They seek a fragment of better life, Journeys begun with a heavy heart, Carrying dreams, they depart.
Across the ocean’s angry face, Bearing sorrows no words can trace, Clinging to fragments of yesterday, Hoping tomorrow holds a ray.
Lilting lullabies, silent screams, Lost in a whirlpool of dreams, Children’s laughter, mothers’ tears, Drowning out the mounting fears.
Mountains tall, and valleys deep, Deserts vast, where shadows creep, Each step, a testament of will, Each breath, a promise to fulfill.
Amidst the caravan’s steady tread, Stories of love and loss are spread, A hand held out, a smile shared, Brief moments when souls are bared.
Strangers once, now bound by fate, Together they challenge destiny’s weight, Finding solace in shared despair, In whispered tales of lands more fair.
In camps where hope seems thin and frail, Old men recount their own migration tales, Of lands left behind, of loves lost, Of bridges crossed, and rivers frost.
But among these tales of woe and plight, Emerges the strength of human might, A testament to resilience, to love, To the undying spirit, to rise above.
For amidst the pain, love still thrives, In shared meals, and hopeful high-fives, In children’s games, and songs of old, In tales of bravery, stories bold.
So, as the sun sets on another day, Of journeys long, and skies gray, Remember the tales of those who tread, Paths unknown, by hope led.
