Today it is your Birthday
A poem of love
In the quiet hush of early morning I can hardly hear the voice of your reply whispered in a language I’ve not heard of disappearing in the lightening of my eye.
The morning sky wakes in whispered moments yawns and stretches her wings of destiny then breathes soft zephyrs in hushed murmurs an edification of her light and lucency.
I see the light peer through my senses and the scene behind the curtain a rondo of characters in costume moves my mind to be more certain.
Manuscripts of thoughts are deciphered the luminescence a passion of delight misunderstandings melt into the morning new wisdom elucidated by the light.
The open sky floats past the horizon capes and shrouds hide mysteries of the sea rippling radiation is borne of sunlight opens doors with a hidden key.
Out in the night thoughts are forgotten cleansed and washed away and whisked away into the nether and filed away for your birthday
I know today it is your birthday years melt and drift away and I send you love never-ending the words I’ll always say.
In the quiet hush of early morning I can hear the voice of your reply whispered in a language I’ve heard of in the lightening of my eye.
