Which Being/Non Being Would You Be In Another Life?

I would be a bird — a flamingo

“The greatest wisdom comes from the smallest creatures”

— Philippe Dubois & Elise Rousseau

There’s indeed so much we can learn from birds in their multitude diversity and bird’s life. There’re more than 10 000 birds species, divided in 245 families worldwide (source activewild.com).

While walking in the forest earlier today I stopped as usual and listened to the bird’s song. I paused, looked up and got amazed by the birds.

I admire the harmony and comfort I perceive in the birds songs. There’s like a rhythm that gets passed on from one bird to another, and it ends up being like a symphony. I find it captivating.

What I also admire in the birds is their freedom: the ability to fly from one place to another with little effort. When they’re tired, they can just stop right where they find a thing to hang on.

And lastly I get inspired by the bird’s simplicity: they eat little, carry nothing with them (travel light) and often fly while dancing in groups. Sometimes bird form these shapes and move together with elegance: It’s a pure pleasure to watch that scenery. It seems to me that they are dancing and making a choreography while moving forward. It’s beautiful.

Flamingo are known to literally dance as a practice to chose their potential partners. Enjoy this nice video bellow found on activewild.com
