ONCE UPON A TIME…

…there was a rabbit hole inside a hobbit hole…

Fiction is a tough genre to write about, sometimes. Especially when you want to publish your creation and can’t find a suitable home for it.

I love fiction. Always have — always will.

It’s what I read as a child and it’s now what I read as an adult. I especially love anything that is ‘different’ or ‘inventive’.

For example, I preferred A Wrinkle in Time over Nancy Drew. I’d rather read about Isaac Asimov’s Robots and Foundation than an exciting well-written love story!

FICTION RESOURCES ON MEDIUM

I’ve categorized the types of resources into three different lists for ease of updating as I discover more existing and to-be-created fiction publications. Simply click on each title to be transported to the list of your choice.

1. Exclusively Fiction Publications

These pubs are created exclusively for fiction. You can find sub-genres such as Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Dystopian, Thriller, Suspense, and lots more within them.

2. Non-Exclusively Fiction Publications

These pubs include other wonderful genres such as history, travel, life, etc etc. They reserve a section for those that wish to submit their fiction stories to their publication.

3. Fiction Newsletters and Guest Writing Spots

The newsletters listed may include other writing genres besides fiction. As might the publications that offer guest writing spots. In this case, the pubs are sometimes a writer’s personal one that they open up by invitation.

AND FINALLY…

This is what Kathy K has to say

I hope this compilation has helped you to connect to places to read and write fiction. I look forward to connecting with more fiction writers on Medium and also growing my own fiction writing skills.

A Link to my Fiction stories on Medium

I’m now writing fiction — currently working on a sci-fi fantasy series, a psychological thriller series and an idea for a novel. Writing in these genres brings a smile to my face. In fact, if you’re interested in reading some of my fiction, I just so happen to have a couple of links handy…

THE END? Not likely…
