Where My Media Comes From

I don’t like to clutter my writing with image credits. And generally, the credits are the same for every article. So I just wrote this doc to link to once in each article. If I do something different than what’s described below in a particular article, I will call it out.

Stock Art

It’s all royalty-free-licensed from Dreamstime.

Meme-Style Art

If you see something that looks like stock art with some text overlaid or other manipulations, that’s my own creative enhancements done in Photoshop. I also use AI-generated content provided by Photoshop which according to Adobe is solely trained from licensed art.

Moral and Legal Considerations

I follow the letter of the law on licensing. But more than that, I respect my brothers and sisters that create things. I support their rights to specify how their work may be used or to sell rights to others.

If you are a creator or rights holder of work that you believe I’m misusing, I would appreciate if you’d tell me and give me a chance to fix things. Similarly, to Medium or publications that carry my articles: if you think I’m screwing up or want an explanation of how some content is clear for use, please just let me know.
