Where Is The Magic Around Us?

Can I see it if I close my eyes?

Look around! What do you see? Is it energy? Is it loud? Is it too much? Does it make you anxious? Nervous? Afraid?

People are moving. No! People are running! What are they running from? Where Are they running towards? Should you run too? Should you stay?

Look around! Are you alone? Can you ask for help? Can you reach out? Is there anything to grab onto?

Look around! Is it a mess? Dirty? Painful? Grey? Dull lines on black streets? Lifeless cars? Lifeless people? Lifeless you?

Stop!

Close your eyes! Take a deep breath! Look around!

Nothing. Black empty nothing.

Now draw!

Draw the streets wobbly. Draw the cars laughing! Draw the people hugging! Draw the life you want around you! Draw an ocean with the birds swimming in it. Draw life and joy and energy, and light. Draw colors and rainbows and flowers.

And sing!

Sing with your heartbeats! Sing with the wind. Sing with the sun and the clouds and the energy around you. Sing with the people, sing with the trees. Sing with the ants. Sing with your heart.

And dance!

Dance with the noise. Dance with the leaves, the trees, the grass. Dance with the cars and the bicycles and the buildings. Dance with the darkness. Dance with the light. Dance with yourself.

Create your magic and feel it. Experience it and live it.

Open your eyes and remember your magic. The magic you have created, the magic you have inside you … the magic that is you!
