Where is God?
Poetry Sunday
God is in the person you spite He is in the secrets you hide God is in the goodness you doubt He is in your work you often crib about
God is in the tears of people When you pain their hearts God is in every new day or Every new activity you start
God is in the being you abuse He is in the time you carelessly lose God is in the things you throw God is in your mingy jokes & shows
God is in the food you call distasteful He is in your demeanor, so boastful God is in the sight you call ugly He is in the sound of bird Which makes you angry
God is in the seasons you dislike God is in the virtues you strike God is in the fire that smells He is in you when you say “I hate myself”
God is in your nemesis He is in your false promises God is in your tragic Just like he is in your magic
Good or bad Right or wrong Old or new Weak or strong Highs or lows People or things Friends or foes Summers or springs Every thing, every soul We must love and revere For God is omnipresent His presence is everywhere
