When Zentangle meets Calligraphy

First of all, I am not a good calligrapher.
I learnt one (and the only one) 3-hour brush pen calligraphy workshop once, and do have some kits at home and randomly practiced copperplate calligraphy, but I’m not good at it at all.
I do spent some time on doing calligraphy with my flexi-nip fountain pen, again and again, and so I have to get it repaired due to the result of an unparalleled nip LOL.
Whats more towards the end of last year was, i tried to incorporate some calligraphy details into Zentangle, the thing I am really confident at. I analyzed the details of the letterform of each alphabet, the strokes, ascenders, hairlines, you name it….. and tried to depict those characteristics by the Zentangle method.
The response was over-whelming on my Instagram account, especially for the letter A and letter B.

My plan is to draw all 26 alphabets, and now I have finished 6–7. Still a long way to go but I know it will be nice if I can showcase all alphabets at once as a slideshow. Please stay tuned =)
