When You Take The Colours Away From A Photo
An interesting experiment which led me to learn about contrasts
When I gave the prompt of monochrome photography to Anne Bonfert, I thought it would be an easy-peasy thing to do. After all, I just needed to convert colour photographs to black and white.
But it wasn’t as I thought it would be. It was much harder. Because you see, I captured the photos in colour as opposed to black and white. And then converted them. As Anne said, I should have taken it in monochrome first. But taking tons of shots this week truly helped me select from my ‘collection’. And yes, I did edit things a little bit in terms of B&W contrast.
I wanted to make sure to take different types of surroundings and not stick to one. So in the article, I hope I did solve that:)

For the past couple of days, it’s raining so heavily! We’ve also had hailstorms for the past two days. And today I’m planning to go and get wet in the rain!

I hate the cream formed on top of the milk, but it looked like the perfect picture to shoot in the morning:)
On Ramzan, when I went to the park in the evening for a walk, the place was filled with kids, parents and grandparents alike. It’s a holiday in India, and it felt amazing to witness three generations playing and enjoying themselves together.
The below image might look weird, but bear with me. Today morning, I did a spinach, apple and celery juice at home…and when I turned off the juicer, this was the result on top. Froth, froth and more froth!
This was one of the days when I looked up as Anne Bonfert says. And found this beauty. The coloured photo looks equally beautiful, so attaching the both below here.
