The poet’s freedom is something that we all might aspire to be. When I say poet, I mean the writer and the artist who has a whole new world inside of them they long to show to the world. The writer is the bird of freedom, its wings carrying all the possibilities of tomorrow and yesterday. It’s sad to think that so many poets are afraid to let their poetry be seen. They are afraid that they will fail.
But I say that is just a fraction of what they have seen. There is a whole world out there you have yet to see…

Poetry explores and connects with our emotions: Poetry is crucial for exploring our feelings. Emotional intelligence is a critical component in personal development because it develops self-awareness and self-control. Through poetry, we can explore the value of our emotions and what they mean to us personally, and how they exist within the context of our external world. Poetry can allow us to embrace every experience and emotion, giving us the power to define what we truly feel. Through poetry, we can produce more powerful and insightful inner feelings. When we look at the art of writing as a whole, it is poetry that we can explore the power of as writers. There is no limit to what we can perceive with our feelings and senses through poetry! Emotions are often complex to express out loud. Likewise, it may be difficult for us to describe a feeling that requires a voice beyond our own.

The bird loves to fly. Though ever-changing skies. Free and streaming, the air and the sunshine a blessing upon its wings. The bird’s beauty is unmatched To even myself, I’m saddened to admit. In a world filled with hate, in a world filled with sorrow, in a world filled with anger. We are all human beings who deserve to be happy and loved. Yet we forget this sometimes, and we believe that there is nothing more important than our own lives.
