when we walk in a story

a poem

हर कहानी के पहले जो सूनापन होता है कुछ वैसा ही लगता है लिखने के पहले।

हर कहानी के ख़त्म होने के बाद एक अलग सी उदासी लेखक के लिए।

हर कहानी में जाने के बाद वो पन्ना जो अपना सा लगता है, हर कहानी लिखने के बाद वो पन्ना बेगाना हो जाता है।

फिर भी हम लिखते है और शब्दों को घोलते है स्याही में। फिर भी हम मुस्कुराते है, कुछ खो के भी खुश हो जाते है।

translation

that sadness which lingers before a story starts thats how we feel before writing.

after the story ends a different emptiness waits for the writer.

once we walk into a story that page becomes our but after writing the story the same page becomes a stranger

still we write and mix our words with the ink still we smile even after losing everything.
