When Time Stops Running

Losing some time is precious

Midjourney

Stop busyness, to enter the void, the creative container. Begin navigating inside the chaos and trace a thread out of disparate items.

Childhood memories

When I was a child and teenager, I used to go on summer vacations to my aunts’ and uncles’ farms. Sometimes I got bored. I have these memories of those early afternoons when everyone took a siesta after starting work early in the morning. I’d slip away and lean against a shed to daydream.

Creating meaning

The poet is an acrobat who improvises a double salto because he always manages to land on his feet. Take random words and compose a poem with them. Humans are animals that create meaning. From any chaos, they will compose a meaningful world, even during a war.

Insights

These moments of vacancy secret the perfect product of intuition and logic, the product of a synchronized brain in a single sentence.

The invisible is populated

The visible is a very small part of reality, and we are surrounded at various wavelengths by invisible consciousnesses that interact with us without our realizing it. Sometimes we have ideas that we make our own, without suspecting that they have been breathed into us by these consciousnesses, be they deceased relatives or guides, or our guardian angel…

Listen

Many times, these invisible presences try to help us but they come up against a wall of thoughts. After dying, deceased relatives want to communicate with their spouse or parent, but they can’t because of the turmoil caused by the grief. They have to wait for a lull, a void, to send messages of peace and love to them. How many times have you wanted to help someone who already has ready-made answers based on their beliefs, and you’ve come up against a brick wall? Empty your mind to welcome the new or simply to break out of your paradigm, your usual vision of reality or just to escape from your contingencies.

So much freedom is unfolding from inside

Emptiness allows great freedom:

  • you can either meditate to lift yourself out of the reach of your thoughts,
  • let yourself be led by thought-free imagery into neutral observation,
  • or spin a skein of thoughts around an intention to draw threads out of it.

My fondest memories

I remember how bored I was, leaning against the hangar wall in the overheated silence, daydreaming. Now that I look back, these were moments that stuck with me because I was in touch with who I am, without a screen of activity or thoughts. Maybe that’s why I write or do meditations today.
