Summary

The article discusses the mythological and historical accounts of giants with six toes and double rows of teeth, suggesting a cover-up by the Smithsonian regarding the discovery of their skeletons due to potential conflict with Darwin's theory of evolution.

Abstract

The article titled "When The Giants Roamed. Why Was There A Coverup By The Smithsonian?" delves into the existence of giants, referencing biblical Nephilim and their attributes, such as having six toes and double rows of teeth. It explores the possibility that these giants were the result of divine and human unions, as mentioned in Genesis 6:1–4. The text also touches on the medical condition of gigantism, distinguishing between ancient legends and modern-day understanding of excessive growth due to pituitary gland abnormalities. Evidence of these giants is cited from various sources, including carvings of Gilgamesh and the discovery of large skeletons and artifacts in locations like Nevada and Wisconsin. The article alleges that the Smithsonian Institution took possession of these skeletons and disposed of them to avoid challenging the established narrative of human evolution. Additionally, the article suggests that ancient monuments might have been constructed by these giants, referencing a documentary called "The Race of Giants" on the Roku channel. The author, Jo Ann Harris, is presented as an accomplished writer with a broad range of interests and expertise.

Opinions

  • The article implies that the Smithsonian engaged in a cover-up of giant skeletons to prevent undermining Darwin's theory of evolution.
  • It suggests that the giants, possibly Nephilim, were a global phenomenon, with findings spread across various states in the U.S.
  • The text posits that the burial mounds for these giants were above ground due to their size, which required shallow graves.
  • The author seems to support the idea that ancient monuments could have been built by these giants, indicating their potential influence on human history.

The Christians may think that these were the Nephilim.

Genesis 6:1–4 tells the readers that the Nephilim, which means “fallen ones” when translated into English, were the product of copulation between the divine beings (lit. sons of god) and human women (lit. daughters of Adam). The Nephilim are known as great warriors and biblical giants (see Ezekiel 32:27 and Numbers 13:33). In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times. Before the Bible was written there were oral histories of legends of gods and goddesses, all over the world.

Gigantism

Superstition caused soldiers to assume that giants like Goliath had godlike power.

Modern medicine has proven that gigantism or acromegaly, a condition that leads to excessive growth, does not involve supernatural causes but is due to abnormalities in the pituitary gland, which regulates growth hormone production. The condition can also be caused by a genetic irregularity, which may account for entire tribes or groups of people in biblical times reaching extraordinary height.

There is little proof that this existed, as it does today. There are “Andre The Giant,” and super tall basketball players though.

Evidence

There are carvings of Gilgamesh who it’s said to have been between twelve to fifteen feet tall and was compared to a lion he killed. This was in Mesopotamia in 2800–2500 BC. Gilgamesh ruled for 126 years. This was in the 26th century BC.

Giants were all over the world. In Love Lock Cave in Nevada, sandals were found that were 15 inches long and 8 to 10 inches wide, which are in a museum in Reno.

In 1931, large skeletons were found that were 8 ft. and 10 ft. tall in a cave.

The Native Americans at the time called them the Si-Te-Ca people and they practiced cannibalism. Since the Si-Te-Ca were killing so many of the tribes they were forced back into a cave and the Native Americans set fire to it. It killed them. These were the skeletons that were found.

There were skeletons, craniums found in Tennessee, New York, California, Kansas, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, all in the 1800’s and 1900’s and all stood between 7 ft. to 8 ft. tall. The skulls also had a double row of teeth which was part of the cranium.

Burial Mounds

It is said that the mounds are above ground because the giants were so big that they couldn’t be buried deep enough with the implements they had at the time. In 1897, in Maple Creek, WI, three mounds were uncovered and a skeleton of a man that measured 9 ft. tall was found along with copper objects.

Controversy

The Smithsonian took possession of a lot of the skeletons and hid them, then destroyed them in the Atlantic Ocean. They were taken out to sea and dumped. It is said that the giant skeletons would interfere with Darwin’s Evolution of Man theory and no one wanted that

It has also been said that some ancient monuments could have been built by giants.
