TEN WORD CHALLENGE

When Stress Wants to Claim Too Much Space

Rest and recuperation are necessary

Created in Canva by Nancy Blackman

Listen to your body. Stress doesn’t have to claim space.

I have had to navigate stress most of my life, which has left me with debilitating health challenges. I don’t have complaints. I’m always grateful for the goodness in my life. In fact, the health challenges have allowed me to slow down and notice the goodness.

When I feel stress coming on, my body reacts first. My naturopath doctor recommended that when this happens, if I am able, to take time away and meditate. Meditation has become my best friend, allowing me to slow down my breathing, and thoughts to focus on what’s really important and good in my life.

Thanks for this writing prompt, Ellie Jacobson!
