When Life Feels Like a Rollercoaster
Simply pause and breathe to regain so that you can move forward.

Life can feel like you’re on a ride that will never stop. It almost certainly felt that way for the past few days.
When life gives you lemon, squeeze it by the hand and make some juice lemonade.
I certainly had found a reason to turn a negative situation into something positive.
It doesn’t mean that every situation that you will ever face in life is all sour grapes, but you can view that situation as an opportunity to gain from a teachable moment.

Here’s how you can apply the lesson to your life:
- Look for the lesson.
You can easily find the lesson in a teachable moment, and use it gather strength from it for when you are faced with another difficult situation.
- Take control over what you do have power over.
Everything you go through in life will challenge you to be creative, intuitive, seek guidance and fresher perspective. Use the moment to exercise your ability to control situations that you do have power over.
- Follow through on developing coping skills for yourself.
Learn how to cope through what you are dealing with. Healthy coping skills might mean cultivating positive relationships, use meditation as a spiritual practice, seek advice and counsel, and turning your attention inward to draw strength from a higher source.
- Practice gratitude.
Use this time to reflect on what you are most grateful for. Remind yourself of the benefits of having and enjoying rich friendships, ability to bounce back from an ordeal, and the gift of life surrounded by the ones you love.
When life feels like an emotional rollercoaster that will never end, simply use the reminders that you will get through it. Self-discovery is a process to learn and observe some things about yourself that you might not have been aware of before the difficult situation. Use the moment to draw strength and courage and create the highest version of yourself.
