When I Die
A poem about death.

Do not stand at my grave and cry, Because I am no longer in this world. And although I will have died, It is only my body, not my soul.
My thoughts and spirit shall live on with you, For I will have impacted a thousand lives. And for all of those people that cared about me, I assure you, this isn’t our final goodbye.
I believe that we will meet again, In the afterlife, or whatever it’s named, But promise me this, when I die, You shall not take the blame.
Unfortunately, death is inevitable, And something that cannot be prevented, But through every single word that I wrote, My life has been beautifully documented.
