What’s the Gentlest Way for You To Be Joyful?
You don’t need to work hard to be joyful.
Having just recovered from COVID and feeling frustrated and depressed that our eldest son is still tested positive for it, I knew I needed to feel more energized and joyful again.
What’s the Gentlest Way for Me To Be Joyful?
I’m so grateful that I now know that dancing makes me feel joyful, and I have invested time and money in a few online dance memberships, such as a yearly membership to use the STEEZY studios dance app. STEEZY has an incredible global online community through its Facebook group too.
Each week, a STEEZY dance routine would be posted in the Facebook group for fellow dance lovers to learn and share their dance of that routine.
It was a wonderful way to gather and nurture our joy and passion for dance! Being part of community events like this feels like such an easy way to reconnect to my joy again. So, that’s what I did!
I learned the dance routine, recorded myself dancing to it, shared the video, and left encouraging comments on other dancers who have shared their videos too. Everyone has a different flavor dancing to the same routine, making it even more enjoyable to watch and learn from. I felt much more energized by dancing the routine and receiving appreciative comments from others.
Here’s my take on this happy routine :)
