What’s Much Better than Marching and Attending Rallies Against Israeli Terrorism?

Taking action in your workplace that makes a material difference

British and American people love to ask Germans, two or three generations on, how did they or rather, their grandparents not know what the Nazi Party in government were doing to the Jews and other people they determined as less than human?

There were the architects and engineers who designed the gas chambers. The train drivers who took trains loaded with people and deposited them at station platforms, starving and half -dying of thirst.

There were the doctors who performed experiments, the soldiers and guards without whom people would not have been contained and terrorised into submission.

There were the scientists designing weapons and machinery; and the factory workers who put the parts together.

But I want to ask, what’s so different about the present world order, led by the USA and its cronies in Europe and the settler states of Anglo origin, constantly inventing and exporting weapons of variously-sized destruction?

We have research scientists, engineers, factory workers — the whole gamut of brians, bodies and hands all coordinating and coalescing into the fascistic world order we know fondly as ‘ The Fairy Tale Lands of Freedom and Democracy’.

(Since the entire infrastructure of Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sudan and Somalia — to name just a few very recent examples of the West’s ‘interventions’, are there any people still labouring under the illusion that human rights are respected by the Western Axis of Doublespeak?)

To the citizens of these terrorising nations, I say, stop your labours! Follow the good example of these trade unions in Belgium. They at least have recognised that the state terrorism of Israel, that has been continuously breaking international law since the days before it was founded, should not continue to be armed and paid for by their taxes. To fail to be effective in your protests come on, is it not tantamount to being complicit in crimes against humanity? Who pays the piper, calls the tune. Israel is merely obeying its taskmasters in the West.

So how about not paying taxes into this system that has been rampaging around the world, waging war on all who are not compliant, for the past seven decades — the point at which in the late 1940’s, the batons and the boots of Nazism were grabbed enthusiastically by the Anglo-American alliance.

To all the liberals, socialists and ‘progressives’ I say, for once, do something a bit more effective than a rally in the park or a walk down the high street holding a placard.

The German war machinery was defeated after a decade. The current form of fascism, while constantly claiming the moral high ground as a bastion of democracy and human rights, has been committing mass murder all over the globe. The illegal occupation of Palestine and the bombing of Gaza is only the latest in a long long line of crimes against humanity.

Clearly the Zionists think that Arabic lives, African lives, Latin American lives, along with Black lives, just don’t count.

If you disagree, stop wearing the t-shirt, or waving the flags of White Empire.

To all the liberals, socialists and ‘progressives’ I say, for once, do something a bit more effective than a rally in the park or a walk down the high street holding a placard.

Better to down your tools, stop the production of weapons of mass destruction, block the transport of weaponry, vote out the funding of Israel, and if your MP’s are scared about being called anti-Semitic, kick them out of office. Don’t you have the right to do that, given that you believe you live in democracies? So put your beliefs into practice!

But admit it — you are scared. There’s a little voice inside that is telling you , when you speak up, your voice actually will not count. Or, you might well get treated like Julian Assange or Edward Snowden. Your workplace threatens you with dismissal on trumped up charges. The police come to your door as you have a Palestinian flag in your window. Your kid is sent home for having colours on their exercise book that show they think differently.

These things are happening now. It is fascism tat work. Maybe you still can’t beleive it — it’s very hard to accept that one was brainwashed. Your pride is hurt. You believed yourself to be an individual, and a free-thinking one, at that. And recent events show you just ahve a herd mentality, group think at its worst — just like the Germans who told themselves, ‘I am just doing my job’.

Don’t like this comparison? Then have the courage to try express yourself in a way that makes a difference and throws a spanner into the official narrative. I know you will you see that the West is just a different flavour of fascism and feudalism, finely blended with the sugar of a deceptive rhetoric.

In Britain, where I grew up, people cheer for King and country. Here, the land belongs not to the people, but has been inherited by the top one percent. In the USA, you shed tears for the Land of the Brave and the Free, only to find your home is being possessed and the Brave are long dead or dying. The Anglo-American Empire and its European cronies and its settler states are all founded on crimes against humanity. Israel is just the monsters’s latest embodiment. Dare you step out of the official narrative seeking your compliance and embrace the humanity of the Majority World?

The Belgium trade unions have taken a step in the right direction and I for one, am grateful.
