What Your Most Used Phone Apps Say About You
Response to Blessing Oluchukwu Awamba prompt
Call me a GenZ or social media addict, but Instagram is the most used app on my phone.
My daily usage says I spend an average of 11h 46m on the app weekly— oops! I really should get that checked. Maybe it’s my GenZ-ism or just the fact that I love Instagram. I love the videos, skits, banging and un-banging pictures, and my favorite feature — IG stories.
Maybe I’m a gossip or poke-nose, but I love watching people’s lives on their IG stories, and I’m a frequent IG story poster too.
Moving on… my second most used app is Whatsapp. This is primarily for keeping in touch with my family in Nigeria. I talk to my family daily for at least 10 minutes, so Whatsapp deserves some praise.
The third is Safari. I browse for everything; I’m a professional internet surfer.
The fourth is Google maps. Hey, I gotta find my way around wherever I am in Europe. Call me “Ajala the traveler.”

I’m quite surprised that Spotify didn’t make the top list, seeing that I listen to music up to 17 hours a day — maybe because I share the app’s usage with my laptop.
In summary, according to my phone, I’m an unproductive social media influencer (or addict) who spends 18h 13m on social media in a week.

I promise that I’m a really good Software Engineer who does other things with her days asides from Social Media.
