What You Do When You Wake Up Determines What The Rest Of Your Day Will Be Like
During quarantine, many people will openly admit their sleep schedules are messed up, and to be honest I cannot blame you. But if you are someone who wants to accomplish a big goal during quarantine then this article is for you. What you do when you wake up is crucial because it will set the entire day for you. So, listen and read this article carefully because these few things that I incorporated in my morning routine has helped me a lot in staying productive during quarantine.
First, I repeat do not touch your phones! Many people start their days by going on their phones which is bad. You can be scrolling through your Twitter, Instagram, or even Tik Tok and the time will pass very quickly. If you start the day by immediately going on your phone then you are telling yourself that this day isn’t valuable and that leads to you having an unproductive day. The morning is a time where you can get most of your tasks completed because you’re awake and you’re energized from that coffee you drank. You can’t just start wake up and get the day rolling with just coffee. You must eat a good breakfast because that is extremely important and it will determine what your day will look like. If you are reading this and you skip breakfast then you are not doing yourself any favors. Breakfast helps you have good health, good memory, and concentration. So, if you aren’t eating breakfast you must start now because it will help you a great deal.
Cold showers, yes you heard that right are extremely important in someone having a productive day. If you start the morning with a hot shower then you aren’t doing yourself any favors. Cold showers help wake you up and get you ready to tackle your tasks for the day head-on. I like taking cold showers in the morning because it gets me super energized, which I like. But taking a cold shower will not make or break your day, so if you do not want to take a cold shower then don’t.
Many people when they wake up just immediately do the same thing, which is going brush your teeth, wash your face, or maybe take a shower, and that is it.
One thing you should apply right now is meditation. Meditation is key to having a successful day and it is coming from someone who found out about this recently. I implemented it and it has worked tremendously. There are different forms of meditation, you can go for a walk or sit in your room and close your eyes and they all work. Try it out because I promise you it will help you a great deal.
